Emerging Exhibition - A wonderful April experience

In early April, I had the pleasure of taking part in the Emerging Art Exhibition in London, curated by the brilliant duo behind VV.arts, Victor and Valentina. It was a truly inspiring experience that left me full of ideas and renewed creative energy.

For the exhibition, I showcased my two folding screens, Ode to Wassail and the Chalk Blue  Butterfly, the Daisy writing desk, and the Pink Dahlia tilt-top table. I was delighted by the positive reactions to my pieces – it’s always encouraging to see people engage with the work you’ve put so much time and care into.

One of the highlights of the event was a window painting session I took part in. I was joined by another talented artist who was wrapping up her session from the previous day, and it was a lovely opportunity to collaborate and exchange thoughts in real time.

Perhaps the most valuable takeaway was the sense of connection – both with fellow artists and with the broader creative community. I left full of new ideas and projects, which I’m now developing. So, watch this space – there’s more to come!
